Rusty Sheriff Alert system
By default
- admins have no restrictions
- the alert system is available to admins and users
- the number of perimeters a user can set is 1.
- the maximum number of points a user can set on a perimeter is 24.
- the maximum height or width of a perimeter is 75 metres.
- the server checks each player over a time period of 30 seconds, then reports alerts to the Raid Alert server as well as in-game.
The above options can be changed via the config file.
You can also set config options to only allow alerts to be sent externally, and only if the player that set the alert logged out within their perimeter.
Quick Start
-----------
To create a perimeter, do
/rs start <name>
then move to each point on your desired perimeter and do
/rs add
Once you get to the end of the perimeter, do
/rs stop
If you make a mistake, use
/rs undo - to remove the last waypoint
or
/rs cancel - to remove the whole perimeter
If you wish to receive alerts externally, use
/rs validate
You will receive a validation code. You will need to enter this along with your SteamID in the Android Client App to receive your alerts. You only need do this once on each
server you set alerts on. If you think someone is receiving your alerts, you can obtain a new code by using /rs validatenew.
To test your perimeter works, use
/rs view 1
step inside and do
/rs test
You should see a message on-screen indicating that you're within your perimeter, and if you have validated as above, a test alert will be queued to be sent to your Android device.
The PC app can be downloaded from my dropbox here:
DropBox
The Android app can be found here:

Or search for Rusty Sheriff Raid Alert on Google Play.
I wrote an RCON utility called Rusty Sheriff RCON which is on Google Play also, if you're looking for ways to admin your server from afar.
